Our story

We started in 2004 as a handful of studio engineers sharing checklists after late-night transmissions. Colleagues kept asking for the same notes, so we turned them into short practical courses.

Today our tutors work across UK networks, production houses and festival stages. They teach what they use daily: clear signal paths, tidy racks, calm gallery communication and lighting that respects both the presenter and the camera.

How we teach

  • Learn on real equipment

Every session happens in a working studio or gallery, so techniques transfer straight to your next shift.

  • Teach the whole chain

Camera, light, sound and workflow are taught together, because a broadcast is only as strong as its weakest link.

  • Keep groups small

No more than eight learners per tutor, so everyone gets time on the desk and honest feedback.
